Spooky Stories Come To Life In Teaser For Amazon's Lore Anthology

Amazon wants to tell you a scary story this October.

Based on the popular and critically-acclaimed podcast Lore, hosted by Aaron Mahnke, Amazon's adaptation is a six-episode anthology series mixing documentary and historical footage with cinematic scenes to tell popular legends and folklore from throughout history. The series is adapting some of the podcast's best episodes, including stories of poltergeists, a village on the hunt for a monster, and the story of a possessed doll.

For live-action segments, the show will feature the talents of Robert Patrick, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Adam Goldberg, Holland Roden, Colm Feore and Campbell Scott, with Mahnke on board as co-executive producer.
