The War Comes To Spike In Trailer For Shannara Chronicles Season 2
Things don't look good for the future of the Four Lands in the first trailer for the second season of The Shannara Chronicles.
Now on Spike after the first season's run on MTV, the second season will feature ten episodes, picking up a year after the events of last year's finale. In the trailer, a villainous group called the Crimson has emerged to hunt down magic users, sending our heroes running as a new threat rises in the nefarious Warlock Lord.
The Shannara Chronicles stars Austin Butler as Wil, an aspiring Healer in the Four Lands, as well as Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennett, Aaron Jakubenko, and Marcus Vanco. Based on the best-selling Shannara series of fantasy novels by author Terry Brooks, the series will feature the arrival of new characters when it returns.
The second season will premiere on Spike on October 11. While you wait, check out our feature on notorious TV shows that ignored the books they were based on.
