Who Plays Sally In The NCIS: Hawai'i Pilot?

"NCIS" is a television juggernaut that just keeps expanding. Sticking to a tried and tested formula, the procedural chronicles the exploits of Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents as they solve a myriad of crimes involving the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The original series, which debuted in 2003, is still going strong in 2022 and shows no signs of slowing down. That being said, the success of the series has enabled CBS to produce numerous spin-offs that take the action to new locations. "NCIS: New Orleans" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" started this trend, and "NCIS: Hawai'i" looks set to continue it for the foreseeable future.

Much like its predecessors, "NCIS: Hawai'i" follows a group of criminal investigators who must solve complex cases pertaining to the military. The series debuted in September of 2021 and has since gone on to produce 17 episodes as of this writing, boasting a top cast that includes Vanessa Lachey and Alex Tarrant. Of course, like other police procedurals before it, "NCIS: Hawai'i" features guest stars who might go on to become big Hollywood players in the years to come. But will the performer who plays Sally in the pilot episode be one of them?

Amber Abara plays Sally in NCIS: Hawaii's pilot episode

The pilot episode of "NCIS: Hawai'i" sees an experimental Naval aircraft crash on Oahu. Naturally, the investigators must find out who is behind the attack before classified state secrets are exposed. Sally, played by Amber Abara, also makes an appearance during the episode, albeit in a bit-part role. While it's a small part, some eagle-eyed TV viewers might recognize the performer from other shows that have used Hawai'i as a backdrop in recent years.

According to IMDb, Abara caught her first break courtesy of a bit-part role in "The White Lotus." She can be spotted in the background of the "Mysterious Monkeys" episode as a guest of the tropical resort where most of the action takes place. Abara followed her appearance in the aforementioned comedy-drama with another small role in the "If I Should Die Before I Wake" episode of "Magnum P.I." playing a character simply known as Girl. Abara is also scheduled to make her film debut courtesy of "Paradise City," an action-thriller starring genre veterans such as Bruce Willis, Stephen Dorff, and John Travolta. That story also takes place in Hawai'i and follows Willis' character as he rampages through the island's criminal underworld.

Outside of acting, Abara is a model who has worked for outlets such as Maxim and Harper's Bazaar, according to her Linktr.ee profile.
