Star-Lord Learns To Work A Zune In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Deleted Scene
Star-Lord may have saved the galaxy (twice), but that apparently doesn't translate into his being able to easily figure out Earth's primitive technology. A new deleted scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 shows the hero trying to figure out how to work the Zune he received at the end of the film, with a little help– and a few music recommendations– from Sean Gunn's Kraglin along the way.
The clip picks up with Peter offering Kraglin Yondu's arrow. After he gives thanks, Peter asks him to show him to work "this thing." "Well, the turny thing makes the songs go up and down," Kraglin replies. Both agree that the device was made by "primitive" people, but, while Peter seems quickly ready to dismiss it, Kraglin apparently is quite interested in what it offers.
Kraglin recommends that Peter listen to Traffic, who has "some good songs," as well as Thin Lizzy, "a group that I like a lot." "There's a lady on there named Alice Cooper that I like a lot, she seems kinda angry but kinda like stuff I, we felt were good," he says. The clip ends with Peter finding a "cap" as he scrolls through the rest of the songs.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which also stars Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, will be available on digital on Aug. 8 and Blu-Ray on Aug. 22.
