Here's Where You Can Watch The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 2 Online

AMC shocked "Walking Dead" fans (and, apparently, cast members like Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan too) with the September 2020 announcement that the long-running series would come to an end after Season 11 (via Deadline). Perhaps even more surprising was the additional announcement that the final iteration of the flagship series would feature an unprecedented 24 episodes. While many seasons of network television series often run around that number, such a high episode count for a cable drama is particularly unusual.

However, as it turns out, "The Walking Dead" creative team had a very reasonable justification for zeroing on that specific number. Instead of splitting the final season into two eight-episode sections as the series did from Season 3 to Season 9, Season 11 will feature three different eight-episode sections, before concluding sometime towards the end of 2022 (via IMDb).

The first part of Season 11 debuted on August 15, 2021 and concluded in October of the same year. The second part of Season 11 premieres on February 20 at 9/8c, but some "Walking Dead" fans may not realize the first new episode of the year has actually been available for sometime now. Here's the inside scoop on how you can watch each episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 11, Part 2 a whole week early.

The Walking Dead episodes air on AMC+ a whole week early

Though "The Walking Dead" Season 11, Episode 9 ("No Other Way") doesn't premiere on AMC's linear channel until February 20 at 9/8c, this episode has already been available for streaming on AMC+ for a whole week. Since the third part of Season 10 began airing in February 2021, new episodes of "The Walking Dead" have appeared on the network's streaming service a few days to a whole week early (via AMC).

Though it is not currently known if the cable network's early release schedule will include the third part of Season 11 or even the eventual series finale, this schedule is expected to continue throughout the remaining episodes of Season 11, Part 2 (via AMC). For example, even though Season 11, Episode 10 ("New Haunts") isn't scheduled to air on AMC until February 27, AMC+ subscribers have access to that episode as of February 20, the same day everyone else is barely getting their first look at Season 11, Episode 9.

"The Walking Dead" Seasons 1 through 10 are also available on AMC+.
