Temptation Island Season 3: Where Are They Now?
When it comes to reality competition shows, audiences are usually introduced to an all new cast every season. Audiences begin to grow a relationship with these new contestants, just for them to either go home or ultimately meet the season's closure with fans knowing that's the end of their time with them.
With some shows, contestants and audiences are lucky because TV can act like a launch pad for careers, so some fans get to watch their favorite contestants grow. Take "The Voice" or "American Idol" for example — many of their contestants have gone on to have great careers that their fans got to follow along them, such as Kelly Clarkson, Scotty McCreery, or Melanie Martinez.
However, this is not the case for all shows, especially because some aren't focused on the entertainment industry. This is the case for "Temptation Island." The reality dating show invites couples to live with single people of the opposite sex in an attempt to test the strength of their relationships. When the show comes to a closure though, audiences have to say goodbye to their favorite couples and contestants. Season 3 premiered in 2021, so what is the cast doing now?
Chelsea Orcutt and Thomas Gipson
Chelsea Orcutt and Thomas Gipson remained a couple and left the island together by the end of Season 3. With one look at the couple's Instagrams, you can see that they are still going strong. Gipson is doing well for himself working on his acting career. The actor has a pretty impressive IMDb page with more than a few entries to his filmography. It appears he has a couple of projects on the horizon and starred last in the TV movie "Burning Little Lies." He also shares photos on Instagram showing off his passion for fitness, as well as many photos with his girlfriend, Orcutt.
Orcutt is also a working actress, last appearing in "Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman" alongside Chad Michael Murray (per IMDb). Her Instagram page shows off her modeling skills, and she also posts the occasional couple photo. She also runs an Instagram for their two cats, Benjamin and Buddy.
The two actors seem to be doing well for themselves and are still a happy couple.
Erica Washington and Kendal Kirkland
Erica Washington split from Kendal Kirkland by the end of their season, and Kirkland ended up leaving the island with one of the single contestants. After the show, Washington went in a more private direction with her Instagram page being on private mode. However, in 2021, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reported on her life after the show and noted that Washington allegedly met someone new, and might be in a new relationship. However, this is not confirmed, with the article stating: "While the two have yet to post a picture with each other on their [feed] or recognize the dating rumors, they still follow one another on Instagram."
As for Kirkland, he appears to be doing well for himself. According to his Instagram, he is working in personal and business credit funding. However, he does have a talent agency listed on his account, so it looks like he hasn't completely shut the door on entertainment. It appears he has also split from Alexcys Homan, who he left the island with, and may be dating someone new, though her name hasn't been revealed. Nonetheless, it looks like both Washington and Kirkland are enjoying themselves.
Erin Smith and Corey Sobczyk
Erin Smith and Corey Sobczyk originally left the island together, but during the reunion, Smith shockingly split from Sobczyk in a surprising turn of events. However, according to Us Magazine, the couple is back together again. There is not much known about what the couple is up to today, since they haven't been too involved in the press and have made no official comments.
It seems that the couple has opted to become more private, too, as Smith has her Instagram on private mode and Sobczyk hasn't posted any content since the show's end. According to TV Shows Ace, Sobczyk posted a heartfelt tribute to Smith after the dramatic reunion episode, though it has since been deleted. Part of his caption read: "Tonights actions, whether it be understood or not, were justified. You were right. And I did hide and lie. But I'm sorry, and here's to us continuing our growth and our love." Their choice to be more private could be a welcomed change considering all that they went through on "Temptation Island."
Kristen Ramos and Julian Allen
Kristen Ramos and Julian Allen left the island together and, even more exciting, Allen proposed to Ramos during the reunion. Ramos accepted and the couple is still happily engaged. Looking at Ramos' Instagram page, you can see many happy images of the couple out and about in the world. There is also a post commemorating the one year anniversary of the couple's engagement, and announcing their anticipated wedding date of July 24, 2022. Ramos' Instagram bio still lists her job as a physical therapist, so one can imagine that's keeping her busy.
Essentially the same can be said for Allen — there is not too much out there revealing what exactly he has been up to since appearing on "Temptation Island." However, he too also celebrated the couple's engagement anniversary with a sweet post on Instagram. According to his bio, he's still working as a personal trainer at the gym he co-founded. Allen was also a former football player for the Dallas Renegades, so we wouldn't be surprised if he keeps busy playing football in his spare time. Nonetheless, the couple looks happy.
