Disney Unveils Model Of Star Wars Land
You'll soon be able to walk right through settings from the Star Wars galaxy, and you won't need to go all that far, far away.
Disney revealed video and images of a large-scale model of Star Wars Land, which will hit Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 2019. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the display will be officially unveiled at the D23 Expo on Sunday.
The two lands, which are currently under construction, will allow guests to take the controls of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission and to experience a "climactic battle" between the First Order and the Resistance. Concept art for the 14-acre attraction was released last summer, and Disney said it will be the largest-ever single-themed expansion at the park.
The official Star Wars Twitter account also shared images, which you can check out below. Meanwhile, check out a behind-the-scenes video about the creation of the attractions.
