The Wasp Revealed In Ant-Man 2 Concept Art
We got a quick glimpse at the Wasp's costume in Ant-Man, but now we know how it will look in action.
Andy Park, Marvel's visual development supervisor Andy Park tweeted a photo of a banner from D23, Disney's semiannual celebration, and it features concept art of Evangeline Lilly's character Hope van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
The illustration looks a lot like the costume that was seen on the shelf in Ant-Man, which isn't all that surprising. It would be weird to show it to us, then give us something different. But as ScreenCrush points out, the Wasp is known for constantly changing her costume in the comics.

Director Peyton Reed will return for Ant-Man and the Wasp along with Paul Rudd as Scott Lang. But Reed said that Lilly's Hope will be just as much in the spotlight as Ant-Man is. "We've introduced the character, but we haven't seen her with her full power set and everything," he said. "So, to me, she's not a supporting character in this movie. It's every bit as much her movie as it is Scott Lang's."
Ant-Man and the Wasp is expected to arrive July 6, 2018. Take a look at more female superheroes who deserve their own movie.
