Chucky Reunites With Old Friends In Cult Of Chucky Trailer
For the next installment in the Child's Play series, Chucky will skip the theater and go straight to your home.
The new trailer for Cult of Chucky, the seventh chapter in the horror franchise that started all the way back in 1988, confirms that the movie won't get a theatrical release, but will be available on Blu-Ray and digital outlets later this year.
Again directed by series creator Don Mancini, the flick brings back Brad Dourif as Chucky along with Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, and Summer H. Howell, each of whom appeared previously in the earlier movies.
The story centers on Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif), who spent four years in a mental institution after being accused of killing members of her family. Of course, we all know that Chucky was really behind that. When her psychiatrist gives her a familiar Good Guy doll as a therapeutic tool, a new string of murders begins to unfold. Meanwhile, Chucky's early victim Andy (Alex Vincent), tries to help Nica while Chucky's former wife Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) re-enters the fray.
We'll let you know when an official release date is announced. Until then, take a look at some horror movies that will blow everyone away this year.
