Spider-Man Scares Starbucks Customers In Prank Video
You didn't think Spider-Man could spend an entire day swinging above the streets of Queens without coffee, did you?
To promote the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Sony staged a prank on unsuspecting customers at a New York City Starbucks. They even managed to sneak in a Stan Lee cameo.
In the video, a crew rigs the ceiling so that Spider-Man (not Tom Holland) can drop down and grab his coffee when his name is called. As you can imagine, it comes as a scare to pretty much everyone. But once that shock subsides, most recover in time to take the obligatory selfie. Check out the video above.
We're just a little more than a week away from the release of Homecoming, the first stand-alone feature for Holland's take on the character, and the first to be tied to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Robert Downey Jr. also appears as Iron Man with Michael Keaton as the villainous Vulture. It was also recently revealed which mystery character Donald Glover plays in the flick.
The movie lands in theaters July 7. While we wait, find out why the movie will be better than you think.
