The Bellas Are Back In Pitch Perfect 3 Trailer

It's time to aca-finish this in the first trailer for Pitch Perfect 3. The upcoming comedy will reunite the Barden Bellas to travel to Europe and perform in a USO show to support the troops.

The trailer begins with Elizabeth Banks' Gail Abernathy-McKadden-Feinberger and John Michael Higgins' John Smith following Anna Kendrick's Beca, discussing what she and her fellow Bellas are up to now. "The Barden Bellas, an unlikely group of not-men who somehow managed to win at something that was not baking," Smith says. "They've graduated college, have spread their wings and are attempting to fly, hopefully not becoming the failures we all expect them to be," adds Gail.

They appear to be bordering on those failures, though, with Beca quitting (read, getting fired) from her job, Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) making her living as a Fat Amy Winehouse impersonator, and Chloe (Brittany Snow) doing some very dirty tasks on her way to trying to get into veterinary school. The suggestion from Aubrey (Anna Camp) to perform at the USO concert appears to come at a very welcome time, and the whole gang heads off to Europe.

Their competition, though, is now a little more intense than it used to be, with the group being pitted against bands that actually use instruments. Considering this is the Bellas and the Pitch Perfect franchise, they'll likely find a way to win in the end, with quite a few hijinks and acapella pop songs along the way.

Hailee Steinfeld, Ruby Rose, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Chrissie Fitt, Kelley Jakle, Shelley Regner, Andy Allo, Guy Burnet, John Lithgow, and DJ Khaled also star in Pitch Perfect 3, which was directed by music video director Trish Sie based off a script from the original's Kay Cannon. The movie is set to be released on Dec. 22; while we wait, see some of the other trailers released this month that will blow you away.
