Chadwick Boseman Dodges Avengers: Infinity War Questions

Marvel has trained Chadwick Boseman into a question dodging ninja. The actor revealed the newfound skill in a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which he managed to skirt around every question the host asked him about his role in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.

Right off the bat, Boseman showed his secretive side, refusing to confirm if he would appear in the untitled fourth Avengers movie and simply saying he is currently shooting Infinity War, despite the fact that the two are filming back to back. "They're like the CIA, so I gotta say I'm shooting one," he said, laughing. (We're going to go ahead and keep hoping he'll be in the fourth movie too.)

He also kept mum on which other characters would appear, confirming the Guardians of the Galaxy only because those actors had already told Kimmel they would appear. He did say there is one actor he can personally confirm– Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, who has been attached to the project for a long while. "I don't see everybody, I don't deal with every character," he said. "I'm telling you it's so secret that we don't see every part."

Boseman did say that he's seen eight or nine characters at a time on set, a far lower number than his co-star Scarlett Johansson, who says she was in a scene with more than 30 characters. If Boseman is to be believed, the film won't introduce any new characters outside of the ones we've seen before, although it's possible he's just keeping his mouth shut to avoid giving away a big and exciting new spoiler.

Boseman's expert level question dodging is an impressive skill for the actor, but it's not as much fun for MCU fans, who have been starving for information about the highly secretive Avengers: Infinity War. Luckily, though, more details are finally starting to come out for Boseman's other secretive MCU project, Black Panther, which recently released its first teaser trailer to widespread acclaim. Boseman will bring T'Challa back to the big screen in Black Panther on Feb. 16, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War will follow on May 4, 2018. While we wait, see every character who has been confirmed for the movie thus far.
