The Two Characters Fans Want To See More Of In Arcane Season 2

"Arcane" is a robust and well-developed animated series released on Netflix on November 6. Inspired by the characters and world of Riot Games' "League of Legends," "Arcane" tells the story of two different societies that exist in the shadow of each other. Piltover is the city above, and it is founded on the tenets of science, technology, and meritocracy. Meanwhile, Zaun is the city below, and it consists of outcasts and rogues who yearn for freedom and independence. This conflict is a multi-faceted one, and it's explored throughout Season 1.

The stellar cast of "Arcane" also brings these unique worlds to life. The cast consists of Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Ella Purnell as Jinx, Kevin Alejandro as Jayce, Katie Leung as Caitlyn, JB Blanc as Vander, and Jason Spisak as Silco. The "Arcane" characters are colorful and consistent with their video game counterparts, which should no doubt thrill "League of Legends" fans.

Due to the show's immense popularity, Season 2 is already in production. However, what characters do fans want to see much more of when Season 2 finally comes around?

Arcane fans want more Vi and Caitlyn in Season 2

In a post shared to the r/arcane subreddit, Redditor u/enaidpiart posted a fan art picture of Vi and Caitlyn. They titled the post, "I love these characters. Hoping to see more of them in Season 2." The post received plenty of responses in favor of these "Arcane" friends. U/ginopeppofreeboter said that the image quickly became their computer's wallpaper.

Vi is one of the primary characters of the series. She grows up on the brutal streets of Zaun, the undercity. She ekes out a living with her friends, her mentor-protector Vander, and her sister, Jinx. She also speaks bluntly and is always ready to fight. Caitlyn hails from a noble Piltover family and is actually one of the police officers of the city. Known for her elite skills with firearms, she is prim and proper. The story has these two characters enter into a reluctant alliance, but it grows into something much more involved rather quickly.

U/RyklonPrime added, "[Season 2] can't come fast enough," to which Enaidpiart replied, "I'll be rewatching over and over until [Season 2] comes around. LOL." In a separate Reddit thread dedicated to these two, user u/BenChandler said of the interaction between Vi and her sister, "That can be what drives the conflict between the sisters. Vi [defends] Caitlyn, who she loves, and Jinx [tries] to kill Caitlyn because, in her increasingly deteriorating mind, Caitlyn is the physical representation of her fears and trauma over Vi leaving and replacing her."

Ultimately, fans love the interaction between the two characters ever since Vi called Caitlyn "cupcake." Considering they have been extensively featured in promotional trailers for "League of Legends" in years past, we will probably be seeing much more of these two soon.
