Final Cars 3 Trailer Released
Lightning McQueen isn't ready to quite racing in the final trailer for Cars 3. The trailer for the upcoming film, set to the tune of the Eagles' "Take It To The Limit," once again shows Lightning in crisis as he tries to figure out how to get back into racing after a devastating crash.
"Get ready for what's coming," Lightning is told at the start of the trailer. "More speed. More of everything." However, Lightning knows that, despite the struggles ahead, he has to keep going, because if he doesn't get back in the game now, he'll never be able to race again. Luckily, he still has the support of his girlfriend Sally, who tells him not to be afraid of striking out. "Don't fear failure," she says. "Be afraid of not having the chance. You have the chance."
However, he'll have to face off against an intense rival in Jackson Storm, who assures him that he had a good run, but his time is over now. "You are not winning this," Storm says. "I decide when I'm done," Lightning replies.
Owen Wilson, Armie Hammer, Nathan Fillion, Cristela Alonzo, Kerry Washington, Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub, Larry the Cable Guy, Margo Martindale, Lea DeLaria, and Cheech Marin star in Cars 3, which is directed by John Lasseter (Toy Story) and Joe Ranft (Cars) based on a script by the team of Lasseter, Ranft, Jorgen Klubien, Dan Fogelman, Kiel Murray, and Phil Lorin. The movie will race into theaters on June 16; while we wait, see some of the creepy things about Cars you only notice as an adult.
