Ansel Elgort Puts The Pedal To The Metal In New Baby Driver TV Spot

Ansel Elgort is "Mozart in a go-kart" in this new promo for Baby Driver.

Edgar Wright's crime-comedy flick is fast approaching, and the studio just unveiled a new TV spot that features leads Ansel Elgort and Kevin Spacey in some pretty intense situations.

In the clip, Spacey, who plays the witty sort-of villain Doc, gives a voiceover as the camera pans the rest of the film's stellar cast. Jaime Foxx as Bats, Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) as Griff, Jon Hamm (Mad Men) as Buddy, Eiza González as Darling, and Lily James (Downton Abbey) as Deborah are all shown looking cool as ever. "I'm looking at some of the country's finest thugs. And, of course, young Mozart in a go-kart over there," Spacey's character says, clearly referring to Elgort as the getaway driver, Baby.

"People love great bank robbery stories," Spacey's Doc continues. "So let's give them something bold, shameless, and brazen as f*** to talk about over their lattes." And what follows in the TV spot is exactly that. From Hamm and González firing off their guns to Elgort sliding across the hood of a car, mixed in with some seriously epic drift sequences, Baby Driver seems to promise full-throttle action and tons of fun.

The clip is cut with praise from critics that call the film "beyond f***ing awesome" and "100 percent fresh." Take a look at all the Baby Driver goodness in the video below. Here's the official synopsis for Baby Driver: "A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams, Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss, he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom."
