Aziz Ansari Announces Master Of None Season 2 Premiere Date

Mark your calendars and set yourself a reminder (or five): famous funny man Aziz Ansari has revealed when the second season of his well-loved show will hit Netflix.

Ansari took to social media to unveil a trailer for Master of None season 2, which announces the official premiere date: May 12.

The teaser clip (which is almost too short) features Ansari and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! creator Eric Wareheim aboard little red scooters, blissfully riding through scenic, sunny hillsides in Italy.

Created by Ansari with Parks and Recreation writer and producer Alan Yang, Master of None snagged an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, a Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy Series, and a Peabody Award in 2016. Executive producers Michael Schur, David Miner, Igor Srubshchik, and Dave Becky will join Ansari and Yang for the second season, with Universal Television helming the project.
