Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales International Trailer Released

A brand-new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has just been revealed, and it's not just the swashbuckling pirates that are traversing international waters. Disney has unveiled the full-length (though noticably shorter) international trailer for the upcoming Pirates film.

Coming in at a entire minute shorter than the domestic Dead Men Tell No Tales trailer, the global glimpse packs a tighter punch and a different name, as the film is released as Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge overseas. The international trailer focuses a bit more on the action scenes and less so on the backstory, but, unfortunately, there isn't any additional unseen footage included.

While it doesn't give up any new sneak peeks at the film that the already-released clips have, it's interesting to note what's been left out. The tension doesn't rise as quickly in the international trailer and shies away from new kid on deck Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), but it does still feature the highly-buzzed-about flashback sequences of the young Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). What remain of these two characters in the global version is the final funny moment that marks their introduction, one reminiscent of Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan's (Keira Knightley) in the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

Take a look in the video above.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales sets sail on May 26, and will feature a fresh face to the franchise in Brenton Thwaites, an actor who is sure to blow us all away this year as Henry in the film.
