Here's Where You Can Watch The Misfits

Anyone who enjoys a good heist movie shouldn't sleep on "The Misfits," the crime caper that premiered worldwide on June 11, 2021. "The Misfits" stars Pierce Brosnan as Richard Pace, an infamous thief who's recruited to join a younger crew for a daring heist to steal a cache of gold bars that's stashed underneath a high-security prison in the Middle East. The crew calls themselves The Misfits and styles themselves as "modern-day Robin Hoods," via Geek Tyrant.

Brosnan joins a cast that includes Nick Cannon, Jamie Chung, Rami Jaber, Hermione Corfield, Mike D. Angelo, and Tim Roth. It's directed by Renny Harlin, who previously helmed films like "Die Hard 2," "Cliffhanger," and "Deep Blue Sea." Harlin's films are known for being fast-paced, funny, and action-packed, and based on the trailer, it looks like "The Misfits" will be more of the same.

If all that sounds like the perfect way to kill a couple of hours, you're probably wondering when and where you can check the film out. Here's all the info you need to catch "The Misfits" as soon as possible.

Most can check it out in theaters or on Video On Demand

Unlike many films released in 2020 and 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic, "The Misfits" wasn't made available to stream on the same day as its theatrical premiere. That means it will only be available in theaters, at least to start. "The Misfits" was released first in South Korea on June 3 (via Single List), followed by a U.S. release on June 11. After that, it releases in Ukraine on June 17, in Portugal on August 19, and in the Netherlands on August 26, via IMDb

If you'd prefer to watch "The Misfits" at home, you'll have to wait a few more days, and most likely have to pay a little extra than what you're already paying for streaming subscriptions. Beginning on June 15, "The Misfits" will be available both streaming and on-demand, according to Rotten Tomatoes. So, you'll need access to a video-on-demand platform like Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, iTunes, or Comcast Xfinity.

Otherwise, no dates for the debut of "The Misfits" on streaming platforms or DVD/Blu-Ray have been announced.
