The OA Officially Renewed For Season 2

Have you learned all the movements yet?

While the first season finale of The OA left us with more questions than answers, Netflix has officially announced that we won't have to wait forever for more of the enigmatic series. Creator-star Brit Marling and director Zal Batmanglij will resurrect the show for a second season, according to a brief teaser (above).

The first season premiered within a week of its first trailer, but Netflix never said when (or if) we could expect another installment. It's worth pointing out that there's no word about a specific release date for Season 2 (dubbed "Part II").

Here's the official synopsis for the series: "The show begins with a missing blind girl in her twenties, Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling), who comes home to the community she grew up in with her sight restored. Some hail her a miracle, others a dangerous mystery, but Prairie won't talk about her seven years missing with the FBI or her parents."

Of course, it's all a lot more complicated than that. We'll keep you posted as more details emerge, but you never know with The OA. It could just appear on Netflix one day. Meanwhile, check out some dumb things everyone just ignored about the first season.
