Supergirl Takes Flight In Teaser For Season 2

Supergirl has a lot going on these days.

She's moving from CBS to the CW for the second season of Greg Berlanti's series, and ComingSoon.net reports Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will also be involved in a musical crossover with The Flash.

But before that, the season premiere of Supergirl is set to premiere this fall. Although we know she'll be working with Superman (her cousin, played by Tyler Hoechlin), we haven't seen any official footage from season 2 until now.

The CW released a brief teaser, and it's focused entirely on Supergirl as she readies to take flight. As Comic Book Movie points out, the bumpy takeoff is reminiscent of the way Henry Cavill's Superman does it in Man of Steel. Watch the teaser above.

According to the official synopsis (via CBM), Supergirl will "battle new villains" in season 2 as she "strives to balance her personal life with her life as a superhero." Luckily, she doesn't have to waste any time in traffic.

Supergirl season 2 premieres Oct. 10 on the CW. Meanwhile, check out dumb things no one mentions about her.
