The latest spin-off, "1923," is another prequel series that brings even more prominent names to the "Yellowstone" universe with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford.
"1923" opens up forty years after the first prequel series, "1883," with Ford's Jacob Dutton and Mirren's Cara Dutton struggling to maintain their cattle and land. The show quickly sets up the hard times plaguing the family, including land disputes, ranch wars, and prohibition-era issues. "1923" is off to a hot start, including many storylines that set up future conflicts in both this series and "Yellowstone."
