Demon Slayer Fans Can Hardly Contain Their Excitement For Season 3

"Demon Slayer" is the anime that has been setting the world on fire since its first season dropped in 2019 (via Parrot Analytics). Based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge, the series follows Tanjiro Kamado and his friends as they join an elite band of monster hunters called the Demon Slayer Corps and set out to destroy Muzan (Toshihiko Seki/Greg Chun) and his terrifying Upper-Rank demon squad.

While the first season followed Tanjiro (Natsuki Hanae/Zach Aguilar) and Nezuko (Akari Keto/Abby Trott) as they adjusted to their new lives following the massacre of their entire family, subsequent arcs like the Mugen Train and Entertainment District episodes have shown the characters as growing more resolute and confident in their abilities, to the point where it now seems like they really might put an end to the demon scourge once and for all. Still, there are at least four more Upper-Rank demons for the warriors of "Demon Slayer" to contend with, and if the latest trailer is any indication, Season 3 is going to be one heck of a ride.

Demon Slayer fans are blown away by the latest footage

Crunchyroll posted a new promotional reel for the adaptation of the upcoming Swordsmith Village Arc of "Demon Slayer," and fans are pretty enthusiastic over what they've seen so far. As comments pour in below the video, there seems to be nothing but good things to say about the upcoming season, which will be arriving in 2023.

"This next season is going to be amazing!! Readers and non-readers buckle up for the ride," wrote @lawtrafalgar8331. Indeed, several fans who have already read the manga of the Swordsmith Village Arc in "Demon Slayer" seem to suggest that the next batch of episodes is going to be incredible.

"Considering how freaking amazing everything about the Entertainment District Arc was, I have no doubt in my mind this chapter will be mind-blowing," wrote @edunpeal. After the dizzying heights that Season 2 of "Demon Slayer" already soared to, it's hard to imagine how Season 3 could be even better but going from the reactions to this trailer, it just might.

"After the Mugen Train movie, I thought to myself there's no way that S2 could top it, but I was proven wrong!" wrote @demonslayer8085. "Season 2 just blew me away, and I'm sure S3 will be even better!" As the series continues to build on the hype and excitement left in the wake of Season 2, the wait for the next season of "Demon Slayer" is going to be unbearable, but fans can catch the new episodes when they arrive in April of 2023.
