Watch Black Panther In A Super Bowl Commercial For Lexus

Apparently one of Black Panther's super powers is corporate synergy.

Lexus unveiled a minute-long Super Bowl commercial that features characters and footage from the upcoming Marvel blockbuster. Titled "Long Live the King," the ad shows T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and his sisters using the 2018 Lexus LS 500 F Sport performance sedan to take care of a few pressing matters. 

Lexus already has a tie-in with the movie, but it's with the 2018 Lexus LC 500 luxury performance coupe. 

An abbreviated, 30-second version of the commercial will air during the third quarter of the Super Bowl when the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles battle on Feb. 4. 

Samuel Bayer (the guy behind the music video for Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit") directed the live footage in downtown Los Angeles and the music in the ad should sound familiar: it's "Legend Has It" by Run the Jewels, which is the same song used in the first teaser released eight months ago.

Disney released a new trailer for Black Panther during the College Football Playoff national championship game on Jan. 8, so it's a safe bet there will be something new released for the Super Bowl. 

Black Panther will hit theaters on Feb. 16.
