New Black Panther Trailer Has Lots Of Previously Unseen Footage
If you aren't excited about Black Panther, you must have had the sound off during all of the previous trailers.
Marvel Entertainment released a new TV spot for the upcoming flick from Ryan Coogler, and it's packed with new footage. Set to a previously unheard song by soundtrack producer Kendrick Lamar with Vince Staples, it offers a closer look at the mysterious African kingdom of Wakanda and a few new glimpses at Michael B. Jordan as the villainous Erik Killmonger.
Chadwick Boseman stars as T'Challa, the new king of Wakanda and alter-ego of Black Panther, along with an all-star cast that includes Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
Things are definitely heating up as we get closer to the release date. Last week, Lamar unveiled another new song from the soundtrack featuring a collaboration with SZA, and Marvel released a featurette showing Black Panther's important place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The only downside to the movie coming out on Feb. 16 is that we won't get any more trailers like this.
