Andor Fans Are Picking Their Jaws Up Off The Floor After An Impressive Episode 6

This article contains spoilers for "Andor" Episode 6.

"Andor" Episode 6 is out, and wow, Lucasfilm is delivering with this series.

The "Star Wars" series gives fans a look into the early stages of the Rebellion. Five years before "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," it follows Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and shows his journey from mercenary to rebel legend. Unlike your typical Disney+ shows, "Andor" doesn't feel the need to rely on cameos and Easter Eggs to show viewers how it connects to the greater "Star Wars" universe, and fans love its mature tone.

Episode 6 sees the rebel team's long-awaited plan finally come to fruition. Cassian, Nemik (Alex Lawther), Skeen (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Taramyn (Gershwyn Eustache Jnr) use the cover of an Aldhani ceremony to disguise themselves as Imperial troops and infiltrate the base. Vel (Faye Marsay) and Cinta (Varada Sethu) sneak onto the base and jam their communications before joining the rest of the group in capturing Commandant Beehaz (Stanley Townsend) and his family. The Rebels use the Commandant and other Imperial soldiers to load up the Empire's credits but lose Tamaryn and Lieutenant Gorn (Sule Rimi) in the process. Cassian, Nemik, Skeen, and Vel manage to escape with the money and get away from the TIE fighters pursuing them. Nemik sustains a critical injury along the way, and the team takes him to a doctor, where he eventually succumbs to his injuries. Skeen suggests he and Cassian ditch Vel and split the money between them, but Cassian kills him and informs Vel. On Coruscant, Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) and Luthen Rael (Stellan SkarsgÄrd) catch word of the Rebellion's successful mission.

The episode was stunning, filled with heart-pounding action and beautiful visuals. "Star Wars" fans took to Twitter to show how stunned "Andor" left them.

Fans agree that episode 6 of Andor is a Star Wars masterpiece

"Star Wars" fans were genuinely surprised by "Andor" Episode 6. The entire series has been an incredible and unique spy thriller set in the "Star Wars" universe, but the most recent episode took things to the next level. Episodes 1 through 5 were very much a slow burn with minimal action that set the stakes for the Rebel group's mission, and that setup paid off in Episode 6.

As with most Disney+ shows, "Andor" immediately began trending on Twitter following the premiere of Episode 6. Fans took to the social media site to show their amazement at the newest episode, with many calling it the best piece of "Star Wars" content in recent years. Billyliggett said, "Episode 6 of Andor is the best Star Wars content produced in the last 10 years." Zedtboy thought the episode was better than any of the other "Star Wars" TV shows, ranking it higher than anything from "The Mandalorian" or "The Book of Boba Fett." Alice_borahae echoed this sentiment, saying the episode left them speechless.

Other fans focused on the stunning visual effects in the episode. Jzescaro posted a picture of the natural Aldhani light show featured in the episode with the caption, "Episode 6 has to be one of the best episodes in all [of the] Star Wars shows. This is what I [have] wanted since Rogue One. This show never disappoints me." JGROVES1996 said, "Episode 6 of Andor might be the most tense I've been watching anything Star Wars. Might also be some of the most visually stunning Star Wars too! Man, I love this series."

It's clear that Lucasfilm struck gold with "Andor," instantly leaving fans wanting more. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until next Wednesday to get more.
