Something's Lurking In The Walls In Netflix Horror The Open House
You ever feel like you're the last person to hear about something important? It's the sort of feeling that can set a person on edge, especially when the thing they're in the dark about has to do with evil forces invading their new home.
Starring Dylan Minnette, The Open House is set to tell the story of a teenager and his mother who move into a relative's empty vacation home following a family tragedy. While everyone in the community appears to welcome them with open arms, something inside the house appears to want them out. As the behavior of their new neighbors grows more and more suspicious, mother and son will have to fight back against the dark forces conspiring against them—or else.
Minnette, who previously appeared in the horror movies Don't Breathe, Let Me In, and Goosebumps, is known most widely as the breakout star of Netflix's young adult drama series 13 Reasons Why, which has been renewed for a second season. He stars in The Open House with Piercey Dalton, Sharif Atkins, and Patricia Bethune.
The Open House is written and directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote, marking Coote's directorial debut. Angel is known for his acting, with recent appearances on Legends of Tomorrow, Sweet/Vicious, and Grimm, and also previously wrote and directed the pilot Half for Sony Pictures TV.
The Open House arrives on Netflix on January 19.
