James Gunn To Produce An Upcoming Horror Flick
James Gunn will have something to keep him busy in between writing and shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Deadline reports he's set to produce an untitled horror film with The H Collective. It'll be a family affair: his brother Brian Gunn and cousin Mark Gunn wrote the script.
Plot details are still under wraps, but Gunn's longtime collaborator David Yarovesky (The Hive) will direct the feature, which is scheduled to begin filming next spring.
Gunn is no stranger to horror. He wrote and directed 2006's Slither starring Elizabeth Banks and Nathan Fillion and wrote and produced this year's The Belko Experiment.
The Gunns have often worked together in the past. Sean Gunn plays Kraglin in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise while Brian and Mark wrote Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. James, Brian, and Mark are also developing the Starsky & Hutch reboot series for Amazon.
The H Collective is currently working on its first movie, The Parts You Lose, starring Aaron Paul, and developing a fourth installment in the xXx franchise.
