Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Rotten Tomatoes Score Revealed
The force is fresh with this one.
Unlike another recent, unnamed, high-profile blockbuster, Star Wars: The Last Jedi isn't being the least bit shy about its Rotten Tomatoes score. That's probably because, unlike Justice League (oops), it actually managed to get a pretty good one.
According to the movie review aggregator, as of December 14, The Last Jedi is certified fresh at a 95% rating with 203 reviews counted. Of those, 192 are fresh and 11 are rotten, with an average score being tallied by the site as 8.2 out of 10.
Ranked against the other movies in the Star Wars saga, The Last Jedi is the best-reviewed movie in the series. Here's how the rankings play out specifically:
1. Star Wars: The Last Jedi — 95%
2. Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back — 94%
3. Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope — 93% (avg. rating 8.6/10)
4. Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens — 93% (avg. rating 8.2/10)
5. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story — 85%
6. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi — 80%
7. Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith — 79%
8. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones — 66%
9. Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace — 55%
10. Star Wars: The Clone Wars — 19% (seriously)
Sadly, The Ewok Adventure, Ewoks: Caravan of Courage, and The Star Wars Holiday Special are not rated, which throws the list off quite a bit because they'd clearly win. We regret the omission.
Overall, it looks like Star Wars: The Last Jedi might be the movie Star Wars fans have been waiting for all of their lives. Check it out for yourself when the movie finally premieres on Friday, December 15.
