James Cameron teased the sequel to the wildly successful “Avatar” when the film crossed the $1 billion mark in early 2010. As the movie took five years for Cameron to complete, fans knew they’d have to wait a long time for the sequels, but we’ve finally gotten the first reaction from Neytiri herself, Zoe Saldana.
In an interview for her new Netflix film, “The Adam Project,” Saldana revealed that Cameron had cracked the challenge of imitating water virtually, after years of working on it. She also stated that she got to see twenty minutes of the second installment at the end of 2021 and that she was moved to tears.
Saldana continued to hype the movie by saying, “You really have to brace yourself for it, but it is an adventure you will not forget.” After 13 years of waiting, fans are anticipating a technological marvel with a profound story when the sequel releases later this year.
