With Sheldon Cooper currently 13 and on spring break, fans are preparing for a pivotal and distressing moment to occur in Season 6, Episode 18 of “Young Sheldon.”
In Season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory,” Sheldon reveals to Penny that he always knocks three times due to a traumatic experience involving his father.
On spring break from college, Sheldon discovered his father’s affair when he was 13, after walking into his parents’ bedroom — a moment fans anticipate in “Young Sheldon.”
Co-creator Steve Molaro emphasized that “Young Sheldon” may not strictly follow “The Big Bang Theory” canon, though, leaving viewers uncertain about the outcome.
The upcoming episode marks the end of Sheldon’s spring break, but whether it will honor the original story told to Penny remains to be seen.
