On Georgie

On CBS’ “Young Sheldon” there are more than a few incidents involving characters close to Sheldon that have affected him and the rest of the family. One of these incidents has fans of the show divided on Georgie and the consequences (or lack thereof) of his actions.
In Season 5, Episode 17, Mandy revealed that she is pregnant with Georgie's child and things began to spiral out of control in the Cooper household. Some fans feel that everyone has been too easy on Georgie with one Redditor saying, "Georgie is not facing any real consequences for his actions and everyone is giving him a pass."
However, some fans disagreed with one saying, "What consequences would you like? Put them in jail? Ground him? This is an adult mistake and he has adult consequences, the responsibility is punishment enough." While it's true that Georgie lied about his age to 29-year-old Mandy when they met, it's also obvious he wants to be there for her and the baby.
