Jacob Anderson landed his first recurring role in the 2011 miniseries “Injustice,” after making brief appearances in other projects like “Primeval” and “Adulthood.” Anderson was featured in three of the five total “Injustice” episodes, where he played the juvenile delinquent Simon.
Injustice
Anderson earned his second recurring role in the 2013 crime drama “Broadchurch,” where he played Dean Thomas and acted alongside Charlotte Beaumont. He also worked with “Friends” star Matt LeBlanc in Season 2 of “Pucks!” and had a single-episode appearance in “Skins.”
Broadchurch
Anderson is best known for playing Grey Worm in the smash hit “Game of Thrones” series for 5 consecutive seasons. Fans loved his character, and Anderson said a man once shouted “F yeah, Grey Worm!” to him on a subway as a way to show support for Anderson.
Game Of Thrones
When Anderson joined “Doctor Who,” he was fully prepared for the behind-the-scenes antics that make TV magic happen. Working on “Game of Thrones” exposed him to things like people “in a green suit trotting around pretending to be a horse,” which braced him for the Whoniverse.
