Why Hedy From The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Looks So Familiar

In its fifth and final season, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" has introduced Hedy Ford, the wife of Gordon Ford, who shares an intriguing history with Alex Borstein's Susie.
Some viewers may wonder where they've seen the actress that plays Hedy before. Actress Nina Arianda plays Hedy and has appeared in a handful of notable projects.
Midnight In Paris
Early in Nina Arianda's career, she played Carol Bates in Woody Allen's 2011 romance movie “Midnight in Paris,” a movie about a novelist who time travels to Paris’ past.
Owen Wilson played the novelist Gil Pender, but Arianda also got to work with Rachel McAdams (Inez) and Martin Sheen, who played her husband, Paul Bates.
Hannibal
In a far less romantic turn from “Midnight in Paris,” 2015 saw Nina Arianda return to the small screen for a recurring role on the “Silence of the Lambs” prequel series “Hannibal.”
In the final few episodes, Arianda played Molly Graham, criminal profiler Will Graham’s (Hugh Dancy) semi-estranged wife.
Goliath
Following her brief turn in “Hannibal,” Nina Arianda was cast as lawyer-slash-real estate agent Patty Solis-Papagian on Amazon Prime Video’s original series “Goliath.”
She’s a close ally to the lead character Billy McBride (Billy Bob Thornton), and by the end of the series, they go up against the complicated world of pharmaceutical companies.
Billions
Rounding out this list of credit highlights for Nina Arianda is one of her most recent roles of note — a recurring role on the Showtime drama “Billions.”
Throughout “Billions” Season 4, Arianda recurs as Rebecca Cantu, an elite billionaire who ends up sparking a relationship with the lead character Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis).
