Morfydd Clark plays Galadriel in "The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power" but has only been in the entertainment world since 2014. She has appeared in the miniseries "New Worlds," the TV movie "A Poet In New York," an adaptation of "Madame Bovary," and the British thriller, "The Falling."
She Began In 2014
One of Clark's biggest breakthrough roles as a horror heroine came in the form of Georgiana Darcy, the zombie-slaying sister of Colonel Fitzwilliam Darcy in "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." Her character is timid and narrowly escaped eloping with George Wickham, but in this tale, he's much more horrifying.
A Jane Austen Twist
In 2019, Clark appeared as Beth in the Sam Raimi-produced killer alligator picture "Crawl." The film features the story of her sister Haley, who chooses to rescue their estranged father from his flooded house and hungry alligators while Beth is safe at home.

For Clark's next project, she took on both Clara Copperfield and Dora Spenlow in "The Personal History of David Copperfield." Clara is David's widowed mother, who later marries into a family that emotionally abuses her son, and Dora is the girl David comes to yearn for as a young man.
Dual Roles
Morfydd Clark's role in "Saint Maud" as Maud, a hyper-religious hospice nurse, won her plaudits and raves from critics. It sits at a 93% certified fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes and launched Clark even further into the stratosphere as a horror star.

Clark played Sister Clara in four episodes of Season 1 of HBO's "His Dark Materials," an adaption of Philip Pullman's novels. Sister Clara is a nurse at Bolvangar station who guards the place with authority and shows Lyra Silvertongue around after she first arrives.
