Before his venture into politics, Donald Trump got physical with Vince McMahon back in 2007 during Wrestlemania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires.

Both men mostly had professional wrestlers do their dirty work for them. Trump was partnered up with wrestler Bobby Lashley during the match.

However, Lashley shared with Inside Edition that “[Trump] just wanted to play more of an active role in it,” which resulted in Trump giving McMahon “a couple knuckles.”

Trump’s “feud” with McMahon continued over the years, with the former president vowing to take on the WWE owner again after Trump’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
