Who Plays Axl In
Thor: Love And
Thunder?

One of the more surprising major new characters in "Thor: Love and Thunder" is Heimdall's son Astrid, who resides in Norway’s New Asgard and renames himself Axl after the vocalist of Guns N’ Roses. Having inherited his father’s all-seeing powers, he forms an efficient long-distance team with Thor after he and a bunch of other children are abducted by Gorr the God-Butcher.
Axl is played by Kieron L. Dyer, a relative newcomer to the industry. Before “Thor: Love and Thunder,” he appeared in the 2020 Netflix holiday movie “Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Story” opposite heavy-hitters like Forest Whitaker, Keegan-Michael Key, and Phylicia Rashad, and also starred in the Knowledge Kids animation "The Brilliant World of Tom Gates."
Dyer is an avid fan of the MCU, having watched all of its movies and followed its premieres on social media. He loves Thor in particular, especially “Thor: Ragnarok,” so he has been absolutely delighted by the chance to help carry on the superhero’s journey since “Avengers: Endgame.”
