More than a decade after “The Blind Side” thrust Leigh Anne Tuohy into the spotlight, the matriarch and her husband, Sean, still live in Memphis and are now grandparents. She has also kept busy with both her business ventures and charity work that focuses on her passion for family and children.

The Tuohy matriarch has written two Christian books, "In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving,” which she co-wrote with Sean, and “Turn Around: Reach Out, Give Back, And Get Moving.” She is a motivational speaker and also owns some fast-food franchise locations with her husband, including Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC with Sean.

The Tuohy’s also established the Making It Happen Foundation for vulnerable children, and her social media is filled with photos of kids in need of loving foster/adoptive homes. When asked what the biggest impact was from “The Blind Side,” she stated that it made her realize that “everyone pretty much has the ability to make a difference.”
