Vampire: The Masquerade -Bloodlines 2?
By CODY D. CAMPBELL
"Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines" gave players a first-person action RPG with exceptional writing, a choice-based narrative, and a high replay value, which is why it’s widely considered the best vampire game of all time. Fans were excited when Paradox Interactive announced "Bloodlines 2" in March 2019.
While the franchise released newer additions to the series with "Swansong" and "Blood Hunt," the publisher has been quiet about any news regarding "Bloodlines 2." The sequel has faced a series of delays and pushbacks due to high standard levels, the Covid-19 pandemic, and project leaders leaving, putting the game on an indefinite delay.
To make matters worse, Paradox Interactive has opted to replace Hardsuit Labs with a yet-to-be-revealed development studio. However, Paradox Interactive CFO Alexander Bricca stated in the Q3 interim report that "the new developer is doing quite well [...] but it's still quite some time before we can start to talk about release dates.”
