Tank?

Not everyone can make a successful deal with the judges on “Shark Tank,” and this is, unfortunately, true for business owner Julie Kalimian who appeared on Season 6. She pitched the Sharks on the SkinnyShirt, a stretchy T-shirt with a formal collar intended to be worn beneath sweaters so that only its collar is visible.
The judges were hesitant to invest in her business when she revealed a decline in sales, and Kalimian walked away without securing a deal while remaining in business for a little while longer. In a post on May 21, 2018, the company advertised a 75% off going-out-of-business sale, and then on June 8, SkinnyShirt shared a post saying they’re officially closing.
The company’s closing post read, “We are so very sorry for the delays in the orders placed since 5/22. Since we are closing we are very lean staffed.” It’s unclear what Kalimian has been up to since SkinnyShirt closed in 2018, and it’s possible she stepped away from the business world completely.
