TV-MOVIES
Actress Hanna R. Hall's portrayal of young Jenny in “Forrest Gump” has had a powerful and lasting effect, which is impressive for a role that amounted to just a few minutes of screen time. It is not surprising then that Hall is far from a one-hit wonder — even if she looks very different now from that girl on the school bus in Greenbow, Alabama.
After “Forrest Gump” was released, Hall continued acting in TV movies until she landed a role in Sofia Coppola’s indie classic “The Virgin Suicides.” On the heels of that film’s success, she attended the Vancouver Film School, while continuing to appear on camera sporadically through the mid-aughts.
Once she finished her studies, she made another splash in Hollywood when she starred as Judith Myers in Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of “Halloween.” While Hall continues to act in film and TV, she has also been working as an assistant camerawoman, an assistant director, and has even started directing underground theater productions in California.
