Gary Dourdan portrayed fan-favorite character Warrick Brown on “CSI,” whose exit left many fans dissatisfied, especially since it made the prospect of the character’s return impossible. Dourdan’s career, however, has not slowed down since, as he has kept busy with all sorts of projects, including his band, Bell Café, and a slew of acting roles.
Dourdan's first recurring part in a series after “CSI” ended up happening in 2013, in Season 1 of "Mistresses." The following year he had a small role as DeShawn in a Season 5 episode of "Glee.” From 2015 to the present, work really picked up for Dourdan, and he co-starred in "Being Mary Jane," "First Wives Club,” and "The Last O.G."
A starring role finally landed in Dourdan’s lap with the action-thriller film "Redemption Day,” written and produced by Hicham Hajji, and since then, Dourdan has starred in another film by Hajji, called "The Moderator." His focus has moved almost completely to films, with two action films, "Zero" and "The Lost Princess," in post-production, and three more in the pre-production stages.
