TV Kisses That
Were Worth
The Wait
By BRANDON MILLER
"Gilmore Girls" fans waited until Season 4 for Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) to lock lips in a perfectly passionate first kiss. Before the kiss, Patterson said he and Graham "were nervous, and then we both realized that's exactly how the characters should feel."

Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Anniston) have a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship throughout "Friends," but their first kiss in Season 2's "The One Where Ross Finds Out," is one of the best in TV history. The off-screen chemistry between Anniston and Schwimmer is a huge reason why this kiss is still so incredible.

"Cheers" fans waited the entire first season for Sam and Diane to have their first kiss — only to be left with a cliffhanger immediately afterward. True to their nature, the characters were in the midst of an argument when they confessed their feelings for each other and sealed the deal.

Although Amy was married when "Superstore" began, Season 2 gave audiences what they’d been waiting for when Amy and Jonah shared their first kiss during a tornado. The kiss is treated as a heat-of-the-moment thing, but once the pair gets together, it proves to be worth the wait.

Romance wasn't on the table for Leslie when fans met her in "Parks and Recreation," but the introduction of Ben's character changed everything. They finally had their first kiss in Season 3, after struggling to keep their feelings for each other at bay during a road trip.
