About MrBeast
By AARON GREENBAUM
MrBeast once had to take control of a running car on a busy highway to save himself and the other passengers from an untimely death after the driver fell asleep behind the wheel. Turns out, the driver had a rare condition that caused his heart to momentarily stop and start again — so, yes, he was momentarily dead behind the wheel.

Pulling off expensively altruistic stunts in his giveaway videos surely leads to financial losses that MrBeast needs to cover with other ventures like his gaming and reaction channels. Although he won’t be filing for bankruptcy soon, MrBeast does need to be mindful of how much money he spends and has had to scrap projects like 2020’s $800K three-part series.
Financial Losses
MrBeast suffers from Crohn's disease, which not only gives him a host of digestive troubles and intense stomach pain, but also affects his socializing since he has to pack his own homemade food when he goes out to dine with friends. MrBeast also needs to regularly take Remicade, requiring a four-hour stay at a hospital every five weeks.

MrBeast’s viral "Squid Game" video — which included all the cash prizes of the source material's contests with none of the death — received some controversy, with people complaining it was tone-deaf. Hilariously enough, show creator Hwang Dong-hyuk shared that he “loved it,” which is as good an endorsement as any.

MrBeast literally eats, breathes, and sleeps new concepts for videos — to the point where he began living an overworked, unhealthy, and stressful lifestyle. MrBeast claims that he obsessed over new ideas so much while awake that his dreams brainstormed for him without any input from his conscious mind.
