Mark Wahlberg began his career as a rapper in the early 1990s, but it wasn't long before he dipped his toe into acting and appeared in 70 films over the course of 30 years. With six of Wahlberg's most well-liked and well-received films available for selection, Looper asked its audience to vote for their favorite Wahlberg character.
With 21% of the voting, Charlie from "The Italian Job" ranks as the top Mark Wahlberg character among fans. The 2003 film was a successful American remake of the 1969 British film of the same name, featuring Charlie as charismatic, intelligent, determined, and kept a cool head, unlike so many of Wahlberg's other characters.
With slightly over 18% of the vote, Sean Dignam from "The Departed" comes in second, and Micky Ward from "The Fighter" comes in third with 17%. Dirk Diggler from "Boogie Nights" is in a close fourth place with 16%, Terry from "The Other Guys" is in fifth place with just over 12%, and Marcus Luttrell from "Lone Survivor" is in last place with 12% of the vote.
