The Witcher: Here's How Ciri's Story Ends If You're Not Returning For Season 4
By Sam Skopp

This story contains spoilers for the “Witcher” book series.

SPOILER ALERT!
Major changes are expected in Netflix’s “The Witcher” post-Season 3, with Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt and Ciri (Freya Allan) remaining as a primary character.
“The Witcher” Season 3 took a more faithful adaptation of series author Andrzej Sapkowski’s work. It is predominantly based on the second novel, “Time of Contempt.”
There are three remaining novels in the core “Witcher” series, providing ample material for future seasons, despite differences from the popular video games.
Ciri’s storyline continues through these three novels, ending in an open-ended but definitive conclusion in the fifth novel, “The Lady of the Lake.”
In the book’s final chapter, Ciri travels to a dimension where she meets a version of Sir Galahad, then accompanies him to Arthur’s court in Camelot.
The fate of Ciri’s storyline in the TV adaptation largely depends on the show’s commitment to the book series, with her return for Season 4 almost certain.
