About Filming
By MARGARIDA BASTOS
You may not be able to tell from their performance, but most actors do not love every single movie they star in. Beloved American star Sally Field is no exception to this struggle, and despite the dozens of titles under her belt, she regrets filming this particular superhero film.
When Field was a guest on "The Howard Stern Show" in 2016, the conversation landed on 2012's "The Amazing Spiderman" and its 2014 sequel, in which Field starred as Aunt May. To the question of whether she liked the film, Field said, "Not especially, it's not my kind of movie."
As for her experience on the production itself, Field considered her friendship with co-star Andrew Garfield to be one of the best things about it. She emphasized that Garfield was a "lovely actor," and that they "found a relationship in who [they] were" as actors and people.
