Always Thought
Was A Bad Actor

Even though each of the core cast members has been hailed for their work on "Seinfeld" there seems to be a consensus that one of the show’s leads stands out among the rest, and not in a good way. Despite earning five Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead in a Comedy Series, fans took to Reddit to crown this cast member as the worst actor on the series.
A Reddit thread entitled, "Jerry Seinfeld is a bad actor," reads, "If you compare his acting prowess to Richards or Julia it's crazy! He is truly awful.” U/Professional_Study_7 complained that, often, Seinfeld is seen trying not to laugh, even when he's supposed to be upset or angry.
Other fans found Seinfeld's lack of acting experience an endearing part of the show, with u/jb1000000 defending Seinfeld by stating, "[I]t genuinely makes me laugh that he's clearly enjoying the gags/scenes so much that he can't maintain a serious face." While viewers might not enjoy the illusion being shattered, it's clear that the comedian enjoyed his time starring on the sitcom.
