Mandy Left Last
Man Standing

When "Last Man Standing" opens upon its seventh season, it is immediately apparent that a different actress plays Mandy than in previous seasons. Actress Molly McCook inherited the role from Molly Ephraim for the show's final three seasons, and as it turns out, there's a very logical reason for Ephraim’s departure.
In 2017, "Last Man Standing" was canceled by its original network, ABC, but then went to Fox for three additional seasons. Unfortunately, Ephraim had already started seeking work on other productions when the revival announcement came and decided not to reprise her role as Mandy.
The crew decided to recast the role, though they did not actively seek out someone who resembled Ephraim's appearance. Instead, Molly McCook put her own spin on Mandy when she auditioned, and she portrayed the character until the end when the series was canceled by Fox.
