The Real Reason
Olivia Black Was
Fired From Pawn
Stars
By MIKE BEDARD
Despite not being on “Pawn Stars” for years, one of the most popular members of the team remains Olivia Black, who joined the shop back in 2012, but was fired from the series after only appearing in 13 episodes. If you wondered what happened to Black after the main staff members, Corey and Chumlee, took such a liking to her, here's your answer.
Like any other series, there are rules the cast has to follow — for instance, the “Pawn Stars” team sometimes has to purchase items they wouldn’t necessarily buy otherwise so that the show can be more engaging. Another rule is that you’re not allowed to have racy photos of yourself circulating online like the ones Olivia Black had from her time with SuicideGirls.
Leftfield Pictures, the production company of the show, fired her shortly after they learned of the old photos, which led Black to pursue a lawsuit against the company. She was able to keep working at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, but wasn’t allowed to appear on camera — and it wasn’t long until she voluntarily quit that position and returned to working in adult content.
