Fans love "The Goldbergs," thanks to the nostalgic subject matter and fascinating characters. However, the recent exit of Jeff Garlin — who played the role of Murray, the patriarch of the family — has come as quite a shock to the viewers of the show.
Garlin's departure from the show has nothing to do with financials or creative disagreements, but it's due to his on-set behavior. Allegedly, he was physically and verbally abusive with other "The Goldbergs" personnel, and many of them celebrated his firing from the show.
A few hours before the Season 10 premiere of "The Goldbergs," Garlin announced on Instagram that he has bipolar disorder. He posted, "Sometimes it's just too much to deal with," and added, "I'm doing the best I can. This the first time that I've opened up about this."
